To my incredible parents that have taught me the most valuable things in life- those which cannot be learned in classrooms. To the parents that have taught me by example that kindness and having love for everyone is the most important thing. For my parents who have given me the world and made everything possible for me in a place that says we should not thrive. To my dad who breaks my heart when he says he is not smart compared to me but works long hours day in and day out under a metal roof that creates extreme heat and cold- only to give me the best of everything he can. To my mom who is wonder-woman and always looks out for me and has always fought the battles I could not take on. When I think about my parents I think of a resilient current that cuts and forms rock to make its own way. They have made everything possible for me even when everything has been against us. I am nothing without their love.
