America for me is the land that gave my family hope! I am first generation American. My mom immigrated to this country in the 1980’s after a civil war broke out in her home country. This land gave her the opportunity to raise he children without fear of being killed, tortured, or being kidnaped by the gorillas. America is the land that gave an entire family hope and prosperity, not just for our generations but for many to come. This is the land of the free and only brave souls take the journey to this melting pot. I consider myself more American because I know what it’s like to live anywhere else. There is no country like country! The beauty of this land is the hope it can give someone in dispear. No matter how bad it is here, I won’t leave because only this country gives me the liberty I love and deserve!

Let's Talk

It's time for a new conversation about immigration in America, and it starts with us.
