I chose teaching as my profession because education is something worth believing in. As a child, I always viewed my teachers with so much respect. They were the ones who molded my mind and helped me create goals despite my legal status. DACA arrived just in time as I graduated high school and has made it possible for me to follow the goals I once thought would only be “dreams.” I aspire to inspire children just as I was inspired by my past and current educators. At the end of the day, nobody can take your education from you.

Let's Talk

It's time for a new conversation about immigration in America, and it starts with us.
