Proud but never satisfied, I firmly stand as a motivated and humble first-generation college student rising against the odds with goals of becoming a leader within my family, community, and society. My parents immigrated from Ecuador 22 years ago. My commencement speech in front of an audience of 4,000 people at Binghamton University was a way of thanking them and giving a voice to all the immigrants in this country. One of the first hispanics in my University to give a commencement speech. “Si se puede!”

I graduated Binghamton University’s School of Management with degree in Business Administration concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems
