As a child i lived in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, so of course it wasn’t nice. My parents moved us to the United States in 2004, because my mom was pregnant and they wanted for my little sister to have a better life. At Juarez we were 5 people living in one house with only 2 rooms, the living room/bedrooms and the kitchen. Now thank God that we live in a small town called Berino, New Mexico, and I am currently a high school senior at Gadsden High School and i try to enroll in activities. Since a little kid, I work in the pecan fields and even the onion fields, which I hate so much, there is nothing more that I hate in this world than working in such horrible conditions for such little money. My dream as a dreamer is to get a degree in Criminal Justice and one day join the Marine Corps, that has been my dream since before we even moved to the United States. I want to make a change and it’ll be hard being just another immigrant, but if that immigrant boy is military, then more people will sure to look at him and listen. I want to make a change for everyone who deserves better but cannot advance in life and get stuck to work in fields for being a little immigrant with no papers. Thank you for reading.
