I am an American citizen, and I’m married to a hard working guy who came to the U.S. in looking for a better life. We have a beautiful family with 3 children and we have been married for 12 years.

He has been working for several years in this country and he works very hard to support our family. He came to the U.S without any penny in his pocket and over the years he learned to paint cars. Now he is a professional car painter, and he has a good job in America.

The only thing that we need to have our American dream is that he needs a green card, because he crossed the border. We need an emigration reform ASAP because I don’t want to lose my husband and I cannot imagine my life without him. My children and I need my husband to live with us because we don’t want to depend in the welfare. My husband makes good money to support us but if the government doesn’t pass the immigration reform my life would change and I don’t want my children grow up without father.

Let's Talk

It's time for a new conversation about immigration in America, and it starts with us.
